Goding Electric has been servicing electric motors and controls in the Chicagoland area since 1922. Going back to the days of vacuum tubes and forward to modern day drives/ PLCs we have seen and fixed all kinds of machines in industrial, commercial, and government applications. We represent some of the finest manufacturers in the world, and have a large inventory of both new and rebuilt equipment. Our founder Carl W. Goding (left in picture)built this company on a simple concept: "We will bring our customers the best possible value." We still strive to this commitment today.

In 2014 and 2015 Goding Electric took steps to bring our customers more value. We upgraded our service standards to match ANSI/EASA AR100-2015. AR100 is a comprehensive document establishing recommended practices in each step of the rotating electrical apparatus rewinding and rebuilding processes. The document describes the record keeping, tests, analysis, and general guidelines for the repair of AC and DC electrical apparatus.
Then we went a step further. We submitted our shop and processes to a third party auditor who went over all of our repair standards. The result was Goding Electric being named an EASA Accredited Service Shop complying with all aspects of EASA AR100. We were one of the first in Illinois to achieve EASA Accreditation and one of the first 50 globally.
